Bertram T. Matsumoto, M.D.
Dr. Matsumoto is a graduate of Stanford University with Honors. He received his M.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He was given an award for Outstanding Resident during his residency in ophthalmology at Washington University.
Dr. Matsumoto served as Director at the Barnes Eye Clinic and University Eye Services after completing his residency.
Dr. Matsumoto is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association. His special interests are cataract, glaucoma, and diabetic eye diseases.
Dr. Matsumoto joined the practice in July of 1996.
Lisa A. Mansueto, M.D.
Dr. Mansueto is a graduate of Northwestern University with Honors. She received her M.D. degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and then completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. After residency, she went to Boston and completed an ASOPRS approved fellowship in ophthalmic plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at a combined program involving Tufts University, Harvard University, and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
When Dr. Mansueto joined our practice in 1999, she added a new dimension to the services we offer with her expertise in ophthalmic plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. She provides medical and surgical care for both adults and children with eye, eyelid, lacrimal (tear duct), and orbital diseases. She also offers consultation and surgery for aesthetic (cosmetic) purposes.
Dr. Mansueto is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Arizona Medical Association, Phoenix Ophthalmological Society, and the Arizona Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Mansueto is also an Adjunct Instructor for the Department of Plastic Surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is also a member of the Barrow Cleft and Craniofacial Reconstruction Team.

Camille M. Hylton, M.D.
Dr. Hylton Dr. Hylton is a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She was awarded for her outstanding academic achievement and original biomedical research at the Yale University School of Medicine where she received her M.D.
Dr. Hylton completed her ophthalmology residency at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore. After residency, she completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Subsequently, she joined the faculty at the Emory University Department of Ophthalmology where she was actively involved in the training of residents and fellows.
Dr. Hylton is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Hylton joined the practice in February of 2008.
Dr. Konti is a fellowship-trained corneal and refractive surgery specialist. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with honors. He completed his medical training at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, where he received his M.D.
Dr. Konti completed his ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. After residency, he completed a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Konti is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Konti’s special interests include cataract surgery with multifocal and toric lens implantation, refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK), corneal transplantation including advanced procedures such as DSEK (Descemet’s stripping endothelial keratoplasty/partial thickness corneal transplantation) and DALK (primarily for treating Keratoconus).
Dr. Konti joined the practice in August of 2011.
Danielle Remington, OD is an Ohio native who received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University after receiving her Bachelors of Science degree in biology at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Remington then continued on to complete her ocular disease residency at Erdey Searcy Eye Group, a surgical practice where management of urgent and chronic anterior segment disease, diabetes, and glaucoma and post-operative care were emphasized.
In 2016, Dr. Remington made the move to Arizona where she joined Ophthalmic Surgeons and Physicians. She has a passion to practice full-scope Optometry including comprehensive examinations, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fits, glaucoma evaluations and management, post-op care, and emergency cases.
Outside of the office, Dr. Remington enjoys being an active member of the American Optometric Association in addition to being on the Arizona Optometric Board of Directors. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors hiking, camping, travelling, and cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes.
