Lift the brow,
open the eye

A heavy, descended brow is often what makes the upper lids look hooded, not the lids themselves. A brow lift gently restores the eyebrow to a more natural, youthful position, opening the eye and softening the tired or tense look that can come with age and gravity.

What is a brow lift?

A brow lift, also called a forehead lift, raises and stabilizes the eyebrow to a more youthful position. Over time, the soft tissue of the forehead descends, pushing down on the upper lids and creating a heavy, hooded look that skincare alone cannot correct.

Many patients come in thinking they need eyelid surgery, only to learn the primary issue is brow position. Addressing the brow first, either on its own or combined with an upper blepharoplasty, often leads to a more natural and longer lasting result than removing eyelid skin alone. Modern endoscopic and limited incision techniques have made the procedure far less invasive than the older, ear to ear approaches used in the past.

Signs you may be a candidate

A heavy, low brow
Eyebrows resting on or near the upper eyelid — a perpetually serious or angry look.
Deep frown lines (the "11s")
Vertical lines between the brows that linger even when your face is relaxed.
Horizontal forehead lines
From years of unconsciously raising your brows to see past heavy lids.
Hooded‑looking upper lids
Lids that look heavy — but the real culprit is the brow pressing down on them.
A perpetually tired or angry look
Strangers ask if you're upset when you feel perfectly fine.
Botox isn't enough anymore
Injections used to lift the brow nicely — now they barely move the needle.

The face you remember — lifted, not changed.

A 45 minute consultation will clarify whether your eyes look heavy because of your lids, your brows, or both, and what each procedure can and cannot achieve. We will walk through your options and the costs so you can make an informed decision.
